📋 Role Overview
As IT Administrator and Security Technology Officer for the Faith Tabernacle Security Service Unit, I volunteer my technical expertise to modernize the unit's security operations. I bridge the gap between traditional security practices and modern technology by implementing drone surveillance systems, developing web applications for personnel management, and creating data-driven solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
This is a voluntary role where I apply my skills to serve the community, demonstrating how technology can empower even volunteer-led security organizations.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Drone Operations & Surveillance: Pilot and maintain security drones for aerial surveillance, perimeter monitoring, and incident response coordination across the church premises.
- Progressive Web App Development: Design, build, and maintain the FTSSU PWA — a comprehensive member management system used by 120+ active security personnel.
- Database Administration: Manage the unit's member database including personal records, training history, deployment logs, and equipment tracking.
- QR Attendance System: Implement and maintain QR code-based attendance tracking that replaced manual roll-call systems.
- Technical Training: Provide training and ongoing technical support to unit members on using the PWA, digital tools, and basic troubleshooting.
- Incident Reporting System: Develop and maintain real-time incident reporting features that enable faster emergency response coordination.
